CandyKisses: Deputy to Nina: Iraq's
budgets throughout the previous period. It starts with a deficit and ends with
a surplus
Baghdad / Nina / Yazidi MP
for the Kurdistan Democratic Party Sharif Suleiman said: Iraq's budgets
throughout the previous period. It starts with a deficit and ends with an
excess.
He told the Iraqi National News Agency (Nina) that the parliament, with
its committees and political blocs, will try in various ways to reduce the
budget deficit, which does not pose a great risk.
Suleiman added that the deficit can be remedied through the rise in the price
of oil, indicating that all allocations this year will be transferred to the
next two years, and this will give way to government and parliamentary control
of the deficit.
Parliament committees are still in continuous discussions and hosting
ministers and governors in order to reach the appropriate formula for approving
a general budget for the state for three years.

Regional Bank Woes; THOUSANDS Could Fail | Bob Moriarty
Liberty and Finance: 5-7-2023
Regional banks are now in the spotlight as the banking
crisis continues. As interest rates have risen, many banks have become
insolvent.
Bob Moriarty says hundreds, possibly thousands, of banks
could fail.
He believes depositors should not count on the FDIC to guarantee
their deposits, noting that even if the insurance does pay out, the payout
would be in devalued dollars.
